We encourage museums, art galleries, and other public venues to show the migrant quilts. We will only participate in indoor venues. To make sure the quilts are available for future events we have criteria in place so that they will be preserved for generations to come.
We require an insurance waiver to be in place upon shipping.
Shipping is paid for by host venue.
We require Condition Reports be completed upon receiving and returning them.
There is a one-time fee charged depending on where the quilts are sent based on location. These fees help us maintain exhibit materials, prints, brochures and digital media content. The fee is an approximation between $200 to $500 depending on location.
If you request a formal presentation by one of our volunteers, stipends and travel expenses are covered by host venue.
